Redding Cal Ripken Baseball offers youth players from ages 4-12 the opportunity to have fun learning the great game of baseball!

Easton-Redding Baseball League’s Fall registration is now open for all girls and boys starting
in PreK (must turn 4 by 9/1/2023) through 7th grade.

The season will run from early-
September through mid-October and consist of games on Saturday mornings/afternoons as well
as weeknight games/practices.
 Division breakouts are as follows:
 T-Ball - Cost - $100. This division is for those children in Kindergarten, Pre-K, or any
child turning 4 by 9/1/2023. The T-Ball players will play on a smaller sized field with
smaller team sizes (capped at 7-8 players/team). The batters hit off a tee while learning
the fundamentals of the game including batting, fielding & throwing.
 All T-Ballers will play on Saturdays only at 12:30pm or 1:30pm at Redding
Community Center (RCC) fields.
 Rookies - Cost - $150. This division is for 1st and 2nd graders. The Rookies play on the
traditional 46/60 field and will feature a combination of coach pitch/machine pitch. Outs
are recorded and players will bat in a continuous lineup. There will be one practice/game
during the week and one game on Saturday mornings with a strong focus on baseball
 All Rookies will play on Saturdays (TBD) with one practice during the week (TBD)
at RCC fields.
 Minors - Cost - $190. This division is for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders (those choosing to not
play in majors). The Minors play on the traditional 46/60 field (46 feet from pitcher’s
mound to home plate and 60 feet between each base) with 46/60 field rules such as full
kid pitch and stealing bases. Minors will play Saturday afternoon, 12:30 pm or 1:00 pm
games rotating between Redding and Easton fields.

 Majors – Cost - $190. This division is for all eligible 5th, 6th and age eligible 7th graders
– although younger/less experienced 5th graders may choose to play in the Minors
division instead. The Majors play their games on the larger 50/70 field (50 feet from
pitcher’s mound to home plate and 70 feet between each base) with 50/70 field rules
such as leading and pickoffs. Majors will play Saturday mornings or afternoon (TBD)
games rotating between Redding and Easton fields.
